Pet food manufacturers hit back at criticism

Pet food manufacturers have hit back at claims that dog food labels too hard to read for half of Brits. Responding to the criticism Michael Bellingham, Chief Executive of the Pet Food Manufacturers’ Association, said: “Our advice to owners is to choose a 'complete' pet food appropriate for their pet's life stage and life style while suiting the pet owner's budget.”

Raw Treat Pet Food Ltd recalls products over health risk

Welsh firm Raw Treat Pet Food Ltd is recalling four batches of frozen raw pet food – Frozen Raw Beef, Chicken, Lamb, and Chicken & Tripe Pet Food – because Listeria monocytogenes, a bacterium that can cause illness in humans and animals, has been found in the products.
