Helping businesses to thrive in ever-changing pet market

The Pet Industry Federation will be hosting a Business Lounge at PATS Sandown from where visitors will be able to speak to staff about the ways in which PIF’s membership benefits can help pet businesses grow and thrive in an ever-changing pet market.

Situated on stand V7 in Esher Hall, next to the Seminar Room, PIF’s Business Lounge will provide an opportunity for visitors to gather information on a range of services, courses and industry news; and get their paws on exclusive PIF discount vouchers with offers on courses and other products. Not only that, but businesses that sign up at the show will also be able to walk away with free bottle of bubbly.

Whether it’s information on PIF’s new public-facing mypetpeople.co.uk website, details about the new exclusive Business Complete package from PIF Telecom; business insurance; the latest information on the new animal establishment licensing regulations; or dates and venues of its education courses, staff will be available to talk to members and non-members and offer advice to pet businesses of any age and size.

On each day, PIF CEO, Nigel Baker (pictured), will also be delivering a seminar entitled ‘Licensing: all you need to know’. The free seminars take place in the Seminar Room at 12.20pm and 1pm on Tuesday and Wednesday respectively and provides the perfect opportunity for pet retailers, dog daycare, kennels, catteries and home boarding businesses to come and find out more about how the new licensing regulations, which come into force on 1 October 2018, will affect them.

For further information about PIF and how it supports pet businesses, please see www.petfederation.co.uk or telephone 01234 273933 to speak to one of the customer service team.
