92% of UK owners have microchipped their dog
The percentage of owners who have had their dog microchipped has increased since 2015, from 83% to 92%, most likely due to microchipping becoming a legal requirement, says the PAW Report.

A leading pet industry figure has admitted that he's pleased to hear that one of his favourite pet shops is not closing down. Keith Aldis, chairman of the Pet Industry Federation, said: "Pets Boutique in Penzance is a shop I use often when holidaying down in Cornwall. Excellent service and great staff."
