Pets at Home launches new brand of cat and dog food

Pets at Home has launched a new brand of ‘advanced nutrition’ pet food.

The new dog and cat food – AVA (Advanced Veterinary Approved) – is available in various forms, including dry kibble and wet pate and chunks, and takes account of breed size, lifestyle and lifestage.

Cat owners are able to choose from a grain-free range that includes diet-specific options for optimum health, weight management and sensitive skin and stomach issues, with an additional number of specific cat functions including hairball, neutered and indoor and oral care.

All of AVA’s veterinary-approved products feature +imuvita, a bespoke mix of ‘immune boosting’ ingredients including cranberry, green tea, pomegranate and grapeseed extracts, all within a hypo-allergenic recipe.
