Skinner’s announce sponsorship of the Dog Arena at BBC Countryfile Live

Skinner’s Pet Food will be exhibiting at the first-ever BBC Countryfile Live and also sponsoring the Dog Arena.

BBC Countryfile Live is being held in association with the National Trust and will be set in the picturesque grounds of Blenheim Palace from Thursday 4th August until Sunday 7th August 2016.

Skinner’s have been regulars at country shows for a number of years but were so excited about this new venture that they were the first exhibitor to sign up, almost 12 months ago!

Skinner’s long history of manufacturing premium petfoods for working and active dogs makes them a natural choice as sponsors of the Dog Arena.

The name Skinner’s has been synonymous with working dog food since their first ranges launched back in the early 1970’s and through the sponsorship of the BBC Countryfile Live’s Dog Arena aim to promote the link between good nutrition and happy, healthy working dogs and pets alike.

Throughout the 4 days of the show The Dog Arena in association with Skinner's Pet Food will feature events and displays for the whole family including the Essex Dog Display Team, the Sealyham Terriers, gun dog demonstrations and lots more.

Although renowned as a manufacturer of premium working dog food, Skinner’s products are as easily suitable for pets and with over 20 products to choose from across the Skinner’s and Field & Trial ranges there is something to suit every dog at every stage of his life. Exhibiting at BBC Countryfile Live will enable Skinner’s to showcase their full range of products to the public as well as promoting a number of new launches. In recent weeks Skinner’s Field & Trial Range have added Puppy Duck & Rice and Junior Duck & Rice - building on the existing range these are specifically formulated to offer optimum nutrition from for the most crucial stages life stages through a puppy’s development into young adulthood and are perfect for dogs with allergies or sensitive tummies as they are completely hypoallergenic.

Will Delamore, Skinner’s Sales & Marketing Director, said: “Skinners is incredibly proud to sponsor the Dog Arena at this, the first Countryfile Live Show.  It’s a great opportunity for us to meet customers who not only share our passion for dogs, but for the countryside and all it offers. My family and I watch Countryfile every week - my children are very excited about the show and can’t wait to join in the fun.”

Tim Etchells, Managing Director, SME London Ltd (organisers of the show) added: "One of the most exciting things about Countryfile Live will be the unprecedented scale of the event. The show plan is looking truly spectacular and visitors will be treated to a huge range independent retailers and big brands.

"To have such significant support from a major pet food producer and country fair regular as Skinner's Pet Foods is of huge importance for the show and will only serve to enhance what is shaping up to be one of the biggest countryside show launches in years.”

Over 600 exhibitors will be at BBC Countryfile Live and the event is expecting to attract over 80,000 visitors across the 4 days. Skinner’s can be found on Stand H037.
