New biscuit treat range from Cooper & Co

Pedigree Wholesale has launched its new biscuit dog treat range from Cooper & Co. The treats are crafted in Devon and contain a host of high-quality ingredients which target different functions and benefits.

Cooper & Co was developed in-house by Pedigree Wholesale to provide a perfectly balanced diet for Cooper, the dog owned by the company’s CEO, Steve Brown. The brand initially launched a premium Dry Dog Food range. It’s always been really important to the family that Cooper is fed a simple and wholesome diet containing only the finest quality ingredients, grain-free and full of all the essential energy, nutrients, vitamins and minerals dogs need for a happy, healthy life.

The new biscuit treats have been thoughtfully developed with the same stringent quality requirements as the rest of the range. Every pouch of Cooper & Co Biscuits contains no added salt, sugars, artificial sweeteners or preservatives. These are an addition to the new air-dried natural treat range made with sausage slices, launched in August this year.

Offering above average retailer margins, the biscuit recipes are gently shaped and baked in Devon. Each Biscuit has specific benefits which closely match the Cooper & Co Dry Dog Food range, making it an easy one-stop destination for customers. The Biscuit range consists of 6 treats that retail for £4.99, including recipes suitable for puppies and senior dogs!

The range consists of the Active recipe, aimed at high-energy dogs, made with Turkey, which can help strengthen a dog’s bones, muscles and teeth. It also contains Spinach, which is high in iron to help support muscle development. Made with Carob and Coconut, the Sensitive recipe is perfect for dogs with delicate tummies. Carob is an excellent source of fibre and helps to improve digestion, whilst Coconut is packed with antioxidants that can help support the immune system. The Calming recipe is made with Duck with Lavender and is great for dogs who are anxious or excitable. Duck is rich in antioxidants and packs the treats with extra flavour, whilst the Lavender features soothing effects to help calm anxiety and stress.

Made with Salmon with Spirulina, the Glossy recipe helps promote healthy skin and a shiny coat. Salmon is a good source of omega 3 & 6, and Spirulina contains many essential fatty acids with anti-inflammatory properties to help support skin & coat. The Puppy recipe is made from Peanut Butter, which is high in nutrients and fibre, plus it is a good source of healthy fats. It also contains Blueberries, which help to support the immune system and are a delicious addition for puppies. The Senior recipe is made with Turkey which contains phosphorus, helping to improve bone strength, muscle growth and tooth health. The addition of Sweet Potato in the Senior recipe, one of the best dietary sources of Vitamin A, can help promote healthy skin, coats, eyes, nerves and muscles in dogs. All recipes are made with Chickpea Flour, which is a great natural source of protein.

To ensure retailers launch the range with impact in store, there has recently been a complete refresh to the suite of Point of Sale available for the core Dry Dog food range, plus brand-new additions of Point of Sale are now available for the Treat and Biscuit range through Pedigree Wholesale.

Sold in cases of 10, Cooper & Co Biscuit treats are available now through Pedigree Wholesale and are exclusively available to the specialist pet trade.
