“Royal Canin is keen on getting professionals from the ecosystem onboard for the health and wellbeing of pets. Breeders are the guardians that set pets up for the best start of life, and we have nurtured strong, long-lasting partnerships with them since our creation. Together, we create mutual value at the service of cats and dogs”, said Cécile Coutens, Royal Canin Global President.
Following last year’s edition which brought together thousands of breeders, pet owners, dog experts, and kennel clubs from more than seventy countries, Royal Canin is eager to play a role in responsible breeding and pet ownership, and to gather key stakeholders so they can exchange knowledge and set up the ecosystem for positive change. This event is one of the many actions led by the brand to tackle this important issue in the pet industry, with, for instance, the Pet Health and Wellbeing Initiative, which aims at collectively fighting illegal trade and extreme breeding by promoting responsible breeding and pet ownership with our partners.
