Pets & Friends customers donate over 17,000 pet meals to food banks over Christmas

Customers of Pets & Friends donated over 17,000 pet meals, plus other pet essentials weighing in at a massive 1,500 kilos, to food banks in local communities during the Christmas period.

The retailer said on its Linkedin page: “We would like to say a huge thank you to all our customers for their generous charity donations, helping families and pets in their communities during tough times.

“Our Donate to a Pet in Need programme will continue throughout 2023 supporting pet parents in our local communities who need an extra hand to help take the best care of their pets. Our stores are accepting packaged pet food and treats, plus other essentials such as cat litter and grooming products.”
