MedicAnimal, the online pet healthcare retailer, has been named by Tech Tour as one of Europe’s top 50 High Growth Companies.
Tech Tour, a platform that allows high-growth tech companies to develop strategic relations with investors, along with Silverpeak Investment Bank and a selection committee of international investors, has identified MedicAnimal as a ‘potential unicorn’ for the second year in a row. MedicAnimal was founded in 2007 by veterinarian Andrew Bucher and former Goldman Sachs broker Ivan Retzignac, who identified an opportunity to revolutionise the pet healthcare market by operating exclusively online. Winning this prestigious accolade highlights MedicAnimal’s position as a disruptive tech company, and creates a firm platform for future growth. Camille Genevard, Sales & Marketing Director at MedicAnimal said: “We are absolutely delighted to have been named as one of Europe’s top high-growth companies for the second year running. MedicAnimal has been able to significantly increase its growth over the past years, and this award from Tech Tour is a great recognition of the work we have been doing to disrupt the pet healthcare market. “Putting the needs of our customers’ pets first is at the heart of what we do, and we are proud to make pet healthcare more accessible to customers across Europe.”
