Award-winning pet store adds to prestigious accolades

Plymouth-based Redpaw Pet Supplies has earned another outstanding accolade after being voted Pet Shop of the Year in the South England Prestige Awards.

The Prestige Awards, organised by Corporate LiveWire, celebrate businesses and individuals that consistently offer excellent products and services to local residents.

Redpaw owner Sammie Hunt said: “This is huge recognition – we are very proud. We all work extremely hard to ensure all our customers receive an excellent service, to help their pets thrive through great nutrition.”

Established by Sammie in 2013, Redpaw is a pet food and accessories store with a great range of products. Based in Plymouth, with an online shop that delivers across the UK, Redpaw is focused on providing high-quality vet-approved pet foods, alongside a good selection of natural treats.

Providing owners with guidance and products to ensure their pets’ health and wellbeing is what gives Redpaw its award-winning reputation.

Since its establishment almost a decade ago, Sammie has begun producing her own range of pet foods and supplements under the name Redpaw.

The judges were impressed by the dedication Sammie has towards improving her comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the pet industry. Sammie has 30 years of experience in the pet trade and continuously strives to develop her knowledge. She has successfully completed an Animal Health Management degree, whilst running her business. This has helped keep Redpaw up to date with current trends, by using the latest research.

Her membership of the College of Integrative Veterinary Therapies gives Sammie a great insight into evidence based, natural medicine. Whether you are looking for expert advice on animal nutrition or a super cosy bed for your furry friends, Redpaw has everything you need.

Redpaw’s other many accolades include being a winner at the Pet Industry Federation Awards in 2018.
