Heelwork to Music Team GB warm up for Europe with wins at Crufts


Members of Team GB who will be travelling to Belgium in August strutted their stuff at Crufts and won an amazing 1st, 2nd and 4th in Freestyle and a wonderful 1sr, 2nd, 4th and 8th in Heelwork To Music.

The team, sponsored by CSJ Specialist Canine Feeds, is a group of six very talented handlers with seven dogs including Working Sheepdogs, Border Collies and a Beagle and has been selected to take part in the Open European Heelwork to Music and Freestyle Championships on August 25-27.

Team Manager Kath Hardman says all the handlers are honoured and excited to have been chosen and let CSJ know, “We did well at Crufts – we have a very strong team.”

  • 1st Lucy Creek with Skiffle
  • 2nd Kim Lyddon with Tyler
  • 4th Karen Sykes with Midge

Heelwork To Music

  • 1st Caroline Garrett with Fawkes
  • 2nd Lucy Creek with Skiffle
  • 4th Karen Sykes with Midge
  • 8th Kath Hardman  with Denby

Lucy Heath with her Border Collie (Indy), Team GB Reserve for Heelwork To Music, and Lucy Creek with her Beagle (Teasel) didn’t get to the final but it was close!
