Festive pet product becomes a nationwide bestseller

Pet Advent Calendars are taking off in a big way this year with the popular Armitage Good Boy Advent Calendar jumping into a nationwide bestsellers chart.

The Good Boy Advent Calendar for Dogs has entered the GTN Bestsellers Christmas Products chart, which lists the top 50 bestselling festive items in garden centres.

The advent calendar was one of 10 new entries to the Christmas Products chart, reaching No 45.

The success of the God Boy product is testament to the fact that more pet owners are buying advent calendars for their animals as well as their children.

Most of the pet calendars are packed with treats and there's even a reusable calendar, which owners can restock for many Christmases to come.

Lily’s Kitchen’s festive range includes advent calendars for both dogs and cats.  The dog advent calendar includes Rise & Shines treats, Organic Cheese & Apple Training Treats and Bedtime Biscuits while the cat version contains Chicken Treats with Liver, Chicken Treats with Shrimp and Turkey Treats with Cranberry.

Pets at Home sell their own branded advent calendars including Rawhide and Munchy dog edition plus a small animal version, while Amazon advertise a Battersea dogs and cats home advent calendar for dogs.
