Burscough Pets at Home opened by West Lancashire Mayor

Councillor Nikki Hennessy, Mayor of West Lancashire, has officially opened the new Pets at Home store in Burscough, before taking part in a guided tour of the new facilities.

Sarah Yould, store manager, said: “What a fantastic start! Our opening weekend went even better than we had hoped and it was great to welcome Mayor Nikki Hennessy and show her the new amenities that we have on offer at the store.

“Our new store features thousands of dedicated pet products for not only local dogs and cats but small animals, fish and local wildlife too.

"We have created 15 jobs for the community across a range of full time and part time positions.”
