Law Print Pack showcase innovations in packaging

Law Print and Packaging is set to unveil its latest packaging innovations and finishes for the pet food sector at Interzoo 2018, 8-11 May, in Nuremberg, Germany.

“From the ever-growing pet treats sector to new store label brands, our team have been inundated with projects over the last 12 months. The pet food market consistently shows dynamic growth and innovation, as consumers see their pets as an integral part of family life," said Carole Bayne, Sales and Marketing Director at the fast-growing flexible packaging supplier.

The latest additions to their portfolio will be showcased at Interzoo for the first time, along with new formats, closure features and finishes.

One of the latest advances uses the application of textured (haptic) varnish to flexible packaging creating a unique, multi-sensory packaging experience. Recently, the UK supermarket chain Sainsbury’s adopted the innovative finish for their new range of Hypoallergenic Dog Foods.

“As millennial buying power becomes ever more prevalent in the pet food sector, it’s clear these savvy consumers are looking for a point of difference. According to recent reports from Packaged Facts, the millennial market is far more likely to spend more on products for their pets than older generations. This creates an exciting time for brands to experiment with packaging features that add greater perceived value,” commented Marketing Manager, Kate McCauley.

Law Print Pack offer a full turn key service for pet food manufacturers, brands and retailers from initial design consultancy to final store delivery.

“Maybe sustainability is big on the agenda for 2018 or perhaps you're looking to streamline supply chain through packaging optimisation? We invite you to meet with our team to see our latest innovations designed to drive down costs, improve efficiency and deliverfantastic quality packagingon the shelf,” added Carole Bayne.
