Ruffwear makes more connections at outdoor show

 

Accapi Group, exclusive European distributors of premium dog gear brand Ruffwear, exhibited at the OTS (Outdoor Trade Show) 2019 with the aim of showcasing how the brand's innovative outdoor dog gear range can boost revenue for retailers year-round.

 

The OTS, held at Event City, Manchester, is the UK’s only large-scale outdoor sport and leisure trade show where industry retailers get the opportunity to preview the latest products and designs for the upcoming season.

 

For Ruffwear, the event provided a key opportunity to demonstrate the growth opportunities for active canine gear. With, according to research, 50% of people who take part in outdoor visits having a dog, there is certainly appetite.

 

Accapi Group managing director, Rob Hughes said: “We saw the OTS as an important step in truly bringing canine gear to the outdoor market. It provided us with a great platform to not only introduce a whole new audience to our products but highlight just how much the industry is growing year on year.

 

“Our offering is unique and provides an exciting opportunity for many retailers that may not have considered exploring this sector of the market before. We’re hoping we can help them open up new possibilities for their customers and encourage more people to enjoy the great outdoors with their dogs and get active.”
