Law Print scoops top BRC supply chain grade

Law Print Pack, suppliers of flexible packaging to a number of industries including pet food, has been awarded the BRC Global Standard's highest grade following an extensive audit against its Agents & Brokers Issue 2 certification.

The Manchester-based company was awarded the AA grade following the audit on November 16.

The latest version of the accreditation goes into more depth than last year’s, with additional requirements to be met for product safety in line with EU regulations.

Law Print’s Quality Assurance Manager Kevin Langan said: “The accreditation provides customers with an increased confidence in the products we supply. Having the BRC’s top grade is vital for us, because understandably, everyone looks out for it – you need to know you can trust your packaging supplier especially when it comes to food-grade products. We are one of only a few operations, to maintain a BRC certified supply chain from source to delivery, within the UK”

The BRC Global Standard for Agents and Brokers has been developed to provide a framework for managing product safety, quality and legality for these non-manufacturing businesses in the food and packaging industries.

Law Print’s BRC AA Grade is effective from January 2.
