Pets at Home opens new concept store in Hull

Pets at Home has opened a new look Pet Care Centre at Anlaby Retail Park near Hull after a total refurbishment of the store including a new concept design. The centre features a state-of-the-art veterinary practice.

The new look 7,552sq ft. Pet Care Centre gives local pet owners access to a new concept store with more space for products, interactive digital screens, and pet adoption centre. A team of specialist pet care advisors are also on hand every day to support with free advice, including flea and worm subscriptions, free weight checks and pet food consultations, as well as a coat and harness fitting service for dogs.

Vets for Pets Hull Anlaby is a locally owned practice run by a team of four highly skilled vets (including an exotic specialist veterinary surgeon), advanced veterinary nurses and experienced client care advisors offering a range of veterinary healthcare services. This includes vaccinations, dental care and all types of surgery including orthopaedics.

Pets at Home has invested over £600k in refurbishing and enhancing the Hull Anlaby Pet Care Centre to offer local pet owners the very best care, services and experience for their pet.

The new look Pet Care Centre is part of Pets at Home’s ongoing expansion programme, with the pet care business opening new stores, refurbishing existing stores and growing its veterinary practices to deliver outstanding pet care services in communities across the UK.

Store Manager of Pets at Home Hull Anlaby, Katie Sutcliffe, said: “We're thrilled to announce the opening of the new look Pet Care Centre in Hull, featuring an upgraded store and veterinary practice for the local community. The redesigned centre is a one-stop-shop for everything to keep your pets happy, healthy, and safe. Whether you need guidance on harness fitting or nutrition advice, our dedicated team is here to assist you.”

Practice owners Vici Tissiman and Julie Farquharson at Vets for Pets Hull Anlaby, added: “Our team is excited to announce the opening of our enhanced veterinary practice, and we can’t wait to welcome back our loyal clients and meet new ones. It is a privilege to be part of this wonderful community, and we are dedicated to continuing our support for local pet owners and their beloved pets.”

The new Pets at Home Pet Care Centre is open seven days a week.
