Moorview Referrals launches a trio of free-to-attend CPD sessions

Moorview Referrals in Cramlington is kicking off the first in a programme of three free-to-attend CPD events in September.

The first event, taking place at the hospital on Tuesday 26 September, will see small animal medicine specialist Harry Swales cover best practice treatment of diabetes in small animals and the new developments and therapies that are on the horizon.

Neurology specialist Kate Stalin will host a second session on neurological emergencies in small animals on Tuesday 31 October, looking at the need for rapid and accurate decision making and treatment of these cases.

David MacKenzie, advanced practitioner in ECC and cardiology, will round off the programme on Tuesday 21 November with an in-depth lecture on how to approach trauma patients, including top tips on initial stabilisation and diagnostics, and how best to deal with them in a busy practice.

The CPD events are free of charge and will build on attendees’ skills and knowledge as well as counting towards annual CPD requirements.

Christopher Green, clinical director at Moorview Referrals, said: “We are delighted to be able to host these sessions and enable other vet professionals to learn from our experienced team at Moorview.”

A full list of CPD events is available here: https://www.ivcevidensiareferrals.com/events-and-cpd.

Moorview Referrals is open 24/7 for referrals from surrounding vet practices. For more information visit www.moorviewreferrals.co.uk/
