Over 300 pet brands on show at PATS Telford

Hundreds of pet companies have confirmed there is only one place to be this September…and that’s exhibiting at PATS Telford.

The showpiece event, taking place on Sunday, September 24, and Monday, September 25, will be packed solid with over 300 leading brands eager to exhibit their products and services to visiting UK and international buyers.

The mood amongst the exhibitors is one of eager anticipation as the biggest-ever PATS Telford moves closer.

Peter Roy, of Natures Menu, summed up the level of excitement by saying: “I’m hoping this PATS, with all the new product and brand development we can showcase, will exceed all previous years. It will be well worth all pet specialist stores coming to see what we are launching this year.

““Over the past five years PATS has been an excellent show for business-to-business trade for Natures Menu, placing over 100 freezers in the UK pet trade each show. When deciding when to launch our new brand to the UK market it was a natural decision to launch at PATS, for the exposure and the quality of the business-to-business footfall we experience.”

Katie Goldsmith, of Collarways, said: "PATS gives us the opportunity to showcase our currant ranges and launch new products in a most effective way. We love talking to our customers and showing off the brands we represent.”

And Steve Bolton, of Pettex, remarked: “We regard PATS as the key event to showcase what’s new to both new and existing customers. It’s also an important event for us to see which way new trends are developing within the industry.”

Suzanne Rothman, of Pet Munchies, said: “PATS TELFORD is the perfect opportunity for us to showcase our extensive range of varieties to many different buyers,” and Laura Redstone, of All Dogkind, commented: “We are excited to officially launch our new Daily Scent Spray at PATS Telford. We have created a fabulous new stand design, which we hope will add a bit of excitement and fun - just follow the bubbles to B51.”

Innocent Hound is a new exhibitor at PATS and Chloe Heaton explained why her company had chosen to take a stand at the Telford show. “Having recently developed an exciting range of functional treats, we are keen to showcase our products to both UK and international buyers. It is our first time exhibiting at PATS and we believe it is the ideal place for us to do this.”

There will be so much for visitors to see and do at the two-day exhibition. One of the major successes at PATS shows over the years has been the New Product Showcase. Last year at Telford a record number new products – over 300 in total – were on show in the designated area. All the products entered into the Showcase will be judged by a panel of independent pet retailers on the first day of the show,

For the first time the New Product Awards will be presented at the PetQuip Awards Dinner, which will be held in Telford International Centre’s Ludlow Suite on the Sunday evening.

As well as seeing an unrivalled array of new pet products and speaking to top suppliers and manufacturers, visitors will also be able to listen to talks from prominent industry figures and witness demonstrations from the country’s leading dog groomers.

The grooming programme, in association with British Dog Groomers' Association and KD Grooming Studio, will include some of the country’s leading groomers. The demonstrations will highlight the knowledge and expertise required to successfully complete all traditional grooming techniques, and will show off a few creative twists and turns as well.

“Myself and the other members of BDGA are really looking forward to delivering two days of interactive demos/seminars at PATS Telford this year,”

said Kelly Davis, Director for BDGA.

“This exhibition is one of the most enjoyable events out there. A welcoming environment with new products, free samples and an opportunity to network and learn is always a great day out in my book.”

Parking is free at the Telford International Centre, and everyone will receive free tea and coffee, and a free show catalogue.

PATS Telford is definitely THE place to be this September so make sure you register for free entry to the show at www.patshow.co.uk where you’ll also find a full list of exhibitors visit.
