Pets Choice promotes UK manufacturing with new logo

Pets Choice has manufactured in Blackburn, Lancashire, for many years, originally dating back to 1881, and today its portfolio is made up of a number of popular pet food brands, including Webbox, Goodwyns, Davies and Oceanic.

To promote this, Pets Choice has created a ‘Made in Blackburn, Lancashire’ logo, which will be displayed on all products made in its UK manufacturing facilities and will include complete food products and pet treats.

Pets Choice currently manufactures 17.5m units of wet dog food, 25k tonnes of extruded food and 8 million packs of meat treats per year, in its UK manufacturing facilities.

Products are sold at all of the big five grocers across the UK, along with wholesalers in grocery and pet, independent stores and convenience stores.

Tony Raeburn, CEO of Pets Choice, commented: “We are extremely proud of our roots here at Pets Choice and know just how important British manufacturing is to today’s consumer. With this in mind we wanted to promote the fact that many of our products are produced here in the UK at our manufacturing facility.

"Maintaining manufacturing in Britain is extremely important to us and it is an area that we want to continue to grow.”
