Thieves steal cash and equipment worth £4,000 in pet shop raid
Burglars, who ransacked a pet shop in the Scottish town of Paisley, escaped with cash and equipment from the overnight raid.
Staff at Proexotics discovered the break-in the following morning, and were heartbroken to find the shop in a state of disarray.
Equipment, including heat lamps, to the value of £2,000 was stolen along with a similar amount of cash.
On its Facebook page, the store posted: “Hey guys, unfortunately our shop in Paisley was broken with the thieves taking a large amount of stock. Fortunately, all of our animals are accounted for, which is great news.”
