Nominations for the 7th Northern Ireland Agria Veterinary Community Awards 2024 are open. Agria invites you to nominate those individuals that go the extra mile to make the lives of animals, owners and colleagues better. Voting closes on 8th February 2024
Every day people in the veterinary community devote their skills, time and energy to giving the best possible care to the animals we love. Often striving beyond the clinical and professional, with kindness, compassion and sensitivity, giving a piece of themselves in their service.
The Agria Veterinary Community Awards are a wonderful opportunity to recognise those professionals who care for our beloved pets, and our hardworking and supportive colleagues and have become a key moment of the year in the Northern Ireland veterinary calendar.
The awards are once again organised by Agria’s Susie Hill, Agria’s Northern Ireland Business Development Manager, and supported by the Young Vet Network, the BVNA and the Association of Veterinary Surgeons Practising in Northern Ireland who will host them at the AVSPNI Conference in Northern Ireland. This will take place April 12, 2024 - April 13, 2024 at the Crown Plaza Belfast.
The categories are as follows:
- Vet Nurse of the Year
- Student Vet Nurse of the Year
- Animal Nursing Assistant of the Year
- Receptionist of the Year
- Rescue & Rehoming Champion of the Year
- Clinical Coach of the Year
- Young Vet of the Year
Agria is passionate about animal welfare, and celebrating those who work hard to support this, be they veterinary professionals, or those providing shelter, rehabilitation or rehoming. Together, we make an amazing team and these awards reflect the importance of encouraging new talent, highlighting inspirational leaders and showing those who diligently serve that we see them and we are thankful. Remind them what a difference they have made to the lives of others and encourage them to carry on
You still have a month to nominate, so if you are a resident of Northern Ireland, just go to https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/NIVCA24 before 8th February 2024 to put forward those you recognise as having gone that extra mile!
Susie Hill, Business Development Manager for Northern Ireland at Agria Pet Insurance, says: “The day-to-day commitment and dedication shown by practice teams to each other, their clients and pets is absolutely heart-warming, and we cannot wait to see the most-deserving individuals recognised in 2024.”
