More than 70 countries take part in Royal Canin event

Royal Canin held the second edition of its PRO Experts Forum, in partnership with Fédération Cynologique Internationale, the largest international federation of national kennel clubs..

The live 100% digital event gathered over 4,500 participants from more than 70 countries.

The event was presented in English, and was translated into six languages (French, German, Spanish, Italian, Turkish, and Chinese).

The unique virtual forum brought together leading experts in pet development, such as Prof. Sylvie Chastant, Dr. Amélie Mugnier, Dr. Virginie Gaillard, Prof. Alexander J. German, Javier Cedillo-Espin, Founder of Pet Talk, Dr. Jon Bowen, and Emmanuelle Louvet, Royal Canin Global PRO Sales and Marketing Director, to discuss the latest know-hows about responsible breeding and ownership, on topics such as weight monitoring, healthy growth, pet owner profiles vs. dog behaviour, and how breeders can effectively convey relevant information to new pet owners.

“Breeders lay the foundations of a dog’s future. They play a crucial role in the pet care ecosystem as they are in direct contact with newborns and their future owners. Therefore, it’s our mission to support them to keep nurturing a sustainable practice, founded on responsible breeding and ownership,” said Cécile Coutens, Global Royal Canin President.
