The UK pavilion at Interzoo, Nuremberg from 7 to 10 May will host 47 companies, all showcasing the buoyant UK pet care market.

A huge variety of new products will be on show: from nutritious, natural food and treats, to healthcare, bedding, packaging, accessories, chicken coops and toys.

With the UK market trending towards natural, premium products and a growth in the population of smaller pets, the line-up of UK companies reflects this imaginative market with dogs, cats, reptiles, guinea pigs and birds represented.

Reflecting the dynamism of the UK petcare sector, the annual awards recognise and reward the energy, achievement and innovation realised within the pet product trade over the last year.

The winners of the PetQuip awards will be announced at the gala dinner, which takes place on Monday 30 September at Telford International Centre, alongside PATS, the pet and aquatics trade show.

The evening is a chance for networking, celebrating and congratulating success for everyone in the sector. In 2023, over 230 suppliers and retailers learned who the winners were while enjoying a drinks reception, three course meal, refreshments and dancing and music afterwards. 

The 15 awards include categories for product, marketing, retailers, suppliers, sustainability and individual achievement.

New categories for this year include rising star, employee of the year and best marketing campaign, with the UK retailer award now being split into independent and multiple retailers.

Entry is free and companies can enter more than one category. Entry is online via the PetQuip website. Entries close on Thursday 27 June, finalists will be announced in August and the awards will be presented at the dinner on Monday 30 September.

Interzoo 2024 will feature the world's most comprehensive range of pet supplies in a total of 14 exhibition halls. Over 2,000 companies from 69 countries will be exhibiting their services and products for pets on a gross exhibition area of more than 140,000 square metres at the Nuremberg Exhibition Centre. PATS is the UK’s Pet & Aquatics Trade Show. This year’s three day trade show, which showcases the best of UK suppliers and product innovations, takes place at Telford International Centre UK from Sunday 29th September to Tuesday 1st October 2024.
