Jollyes Pets opens latest outlet in Asda superstore

Retail group Jollyes Pets has opened its latest store – its 128th in total – in Sheffield with comedian Paul Chuckle cutting the ribbon. The Drakehouse outlet is the first of its kind to be located inside an Asda superstore.

The company said: “We’re bringing Jollyes’ pet expertise to Asda customers, with everything from frozen raw and natural treats to our new fresh food brand, Freshpet.

“We had special guest Paul Chuckle join us who did the honours of cutting the ribbon, as well prizes up for grabs with our Wheel of Fur-tune.”

Store manager Alan Burgar, said: "I'm really excited to be opening the new Drakehouse store and welcoming Sheffield's pet parents through the doors. Since joining Jollyes last year, I've loved learning more about the different types of pets we cater for and the products that help keep them happy and healthy - something I know my own cat Ozzy appreciates too.

"We've got plenty planned to celebrate the opening and we're looking forward to meeting our new customers and their pets. I'm also really excited to have the opportunity to build and develop another brilliant team here at Drakehouse, with a real focus on great customer service whilst providing great value to the pet community here in Sheffield."
