Pets at Home appoints new Non-Executive Director

Pets at Home has announced the appointment of Angelique Augereau as its new independent Non-Executive Director.

Until recently, Angelique served as the Chief Analytics Officer at Capital One Financial Corporation, where she led a team to execute Capital One's first artificial intelligence and machine learning strategy and innovation agenda for the card business. Prior to this, Angelique held positions as the Chief Data & Analytics Officer for Apax Partners and as a Managing Director in J.P. Morgan's Global Payment Business, where she built and scaled a data-driven innovation unit.

On her appointment to the Board, Angelique has also become a member of the Pets’ Nomination and Corporate Governance Committee, as well as the ESG Committee.

Pets at Home Chairman, Ian Burke, commented: “On behalf of the Board of Directors, I am delighted to welcome Angelique Augereau to Pets at Home Group plc. The directors and I look forward to working with Angelique and strengthening the Board’s experience in AI and machine learning.”
