Pets at Home has this week announced the appointment of Rachel Mooney as Chief People Officer.
Prior to joining Pets at Home, Rachel held senior roles at global brands, including Google and Vodafone, and was Chief People Officer at digitally-led organisations Monzo and Snow Software.
Throughout her career, Rachel has been instrumental in developing talent acquisition strategies, upskilling leadership, and shaping organisational effectiveness, whilst also ensuring a strong sense of purpose and people engagement remain central to building a meaningful employer brand.
Rachel has held several board roles, including previously as a Non-Executive Board Member at Vodafone Group Services, and at Women’s Aid (Ireland). She has a BA (Hons) in Psychology, an MSc in Applied Neuroscience as well as an MBA in Organisational Change and Innovation.
Rachel is married to Ciaran and has two sons. She is also the proud owner of 13-year-old Westie, Lily, and Ari the cat.
