Multi-award-winning small animal accessories brand, HayPigs! are at it again, this time as one of three finalists in the Retail Business of the Year category at the Business Excellence Awards Essex.

The awards final, which will take place on Thursday 26th September 2019 at Five Lakes near Colchester, will be attended by the elite business people of Essex. The evening is being hosted by comedian Mark Dolan and actress, singer, model and presenter, Denise van Outen. It will be a celebration of the county’s best companies and a reminder that Essex is a great place to do business.

“We’re really proud to have made it to the final in what was a super competitive application process” said Rik, HayPigs! co-founder. “We missed out on a final spot last year, so to have gone that extra step this year is recognition of the hard work we’ve put in over the last 12 months.”

The excited HayPigs!  team took to social media to announce their finalist spot after attending a champagne and canape evening ahead of the main event:

“Here we are at the pre-event, the piggies very much enjoyed hanging out in the Rolls Royce, they said the shag carpet was just like vet bed! Fingers and paws crossed for the final at the end of the month!”
