Rawgeous finalist in four award categories

Rawgeous Pet Food have made the finals in four categories of the PetQuip Awards 2022. The company is up for Green and Organic, Sustainability, Product Innovation and Supplier of the Year. This is the first time it has entered these prestigious awards.

Rawgeous together with their nutritionists have developed a range of tasty recipes to help keep your dog fit and healthy during the winter months. The team believes that it is vitally important to exercise your dog in the colder months and to feed a good diet to improve your dog’s immune system and to protect the joints, coat and skin.

Lorraine Sweeney, co founder of Rawgeous Pet Food alongside business partner, Eoin Sweeny says: “We believe that one of the best ways to feed your dog is on a raw diet because not only are you feeding it what it would have eaten in the wild avoiding any intolerances and allergies that processed and commercial foods can sometime bring, but you are also controlling the protein content and portion size.”

Rawgeous raw dog food recipes include only the highest quality human grade, cuts of tasty Irish prime meat together with the freshest veggies, seaweed, an organic Kefir probiotic which works to maintain a healthy gut and  6 different omega oils.

Rawgeous Pet Food was the first  in Ireland  to be 100% traceable from the farm of origin to the dogs bowl and is still the only pet food  in Ireland that tests EVERY single batch BEFORE it leaves its licensed premises to ensure we far exceed the standard required.

Choose from a wide variety of meat and fish complete meals or our boxes of 12 sausages in a 41 g size which makes feeding the raw diet easier and helps to maintain portion size. This is particularly important if you are feeding a small dog and want to avoid any wastage.

All our food is fresh with no additives and uses the best quality possible- and the results show. We are also proud of our environmental credentials. Our packaging is sustainable 100% plastic free. We use Wool Cool; an incredible insulating material made from 100% wool; a natural ‘smart fibre’.

Rawgeous is now being stocked by Natural Cornish Pet Shop who were winners of the Independent Pet Retailer of the Year Award at the 2021 PetQuip Awards.
