Jollyes new Glenrothes store opens with unicorn

Jollyes opened its new store in Glenrothes, Fife, on Saturday (8 October), when a guest appearance from Princess the unicorn brought some magic to a fun-packed day.

The nationwide pet retailer’s latest store – it’s fourth in Scotland - opened at Saltire Retail Park.

While Jollyes in Glenrothes has no plans to sell unicorns, the official opening was performed by Princess, a unicorn masquerading as an adorable miniature Shetland pony, courtesy of Scotland’s Unicorn Experience.

The 5,000 square feet store, which employs 10 colleagues, is Jollyes’ fourth store to open in Scotland.

As well as the chance to meet and feed Princess, there were goodie bags for the first 100 visitors, face painting for children and the chance to win prizes playing the “wheel of fur-tune”.
