UK and overseas growth for pet food brand Purely Fish

Pet food brand Purely Fish has announced steady growth both here in the UK and also through export sales worldwide.

The Cornish based company that produces a range of 100% natural pet food and treats made from fish, launched just 20 months ago with just three varieties of dog treats.  The company now has 34 different SKU’s, covering treats, wet food, toppers and raw, for both cats and dogs, in retail and bulk buy sized packs.

At PATS Telford last September, Purely Fish launched four new SKU’s, two for dogs and two for cats in handy 20g snack packs.  These treats embrace the growing trend of humanisation in pet food, whilst maintaining core values – ‘healthy and natural’

Purely Fish Business Development Manager, Karen Scott comments: “Innovation is key to the continued success of Purely Fish and we commit a great deal of time and investment to ongoing new product development.

“We listen to our customers and understand their needs, and over the next 6 months, we aim to bring a number of new products to the market place, to help our brand to continue to grow.”

Exports of Purely Fish now cover Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Poland and Germany.  In the UK, Purely Fish is stocked by many of the leading pet wholesalers and retailers including Pedigree Wholesale and Pets Corner.

Rachel Carr, a Buyer for Pets Corner comments: “It’s great to see a small British company grow and promote their Cornish heritage within independent pet stores in a very busy marketplace.”

Purely Fish is now looking forward to exhibiting at PATS Sandown (Stand A2a).

Entered into the New Product Showcase at PATS Sandown is one of the company’s newest products, ‘Purely Fish with Salmon for Cats’, a complementary wet food, packed in a 170g weight can with a ring pull lid for convenience.  Made from just salmon and whitefish, this product is 100% natural and rich in Omega 3 oils to benefit skin and coat condition, heart health, joint mobility and digestion.
