Pet food entrepreneur in Top 100 list for innovation

Henrietta Morrison, the CEO and founder of Lily’s Kitchen, has been named in this year’s prestigious Sunday Times Maserati 100 List, an accolade dedicated to the UK’s most inspiring innovators -  those entrepreneurs who take a big idea and make it work.

The award, sponsored by the luxury Italian car manufacturer, showcases the crème de la crème of business innovators and highlighted Henrietta as the driving force behind a much celebrated entrepreneurial British brand that continues to transform the pet food industry by improving the quality of pets’ lives whilst disrupting a category dominated by the large corporates.

Henrietta said: “I am honoured to receive recognition in the Maserati 100 list for Lily’s Kitchen’s innovation.

"It’s also a huge recognition of the dedication from the Lily’s Kitchen team who make a real difference to the health and happiness of pets. It’s this uncompromising approach to the quality pet food we produce and the innovation we have brought to the category, which has resulted in this achievement.

"These awards are significant for entrepreneurial British businesses. I’d also like to thank my extraordinary team and all our producers who work so hard to meeting our standards.”

Maserati itself was founded more than 100 years ago by five brothers who were innovators of their time.

In the same week, Lily’s Kitchen has also been shortlisted for two other prestigious awards – The Grocer’s SME Brand Of The Year and Employer Of The Year
