John Burns, of Burns Pet Nutrition, has been presented with a Lifetime Achievement Award at the Swansea Bay Business Awards, which honour the best businesses in the west Wales region.

The black tie event was held at the Brangwyn Hall in Swansea with TV presenter and journalist Fran Donovan hosting the evening.

John, was presented with the award by Paul Gardner, president of Swansea Bay Business Club, was honoured for his commitment to pets and people over the past 25 years.

Burns Pet Nutrition also won Manufacturing Business of the Year.

“Needless to say, we are completely over the moon, particularly as this is our 25th year in business,” said a Burns spokesperson.
