Cat stand wins top award at premier dog show

Lily’s Kitchen won a top prize for its controversial cat food stand at the famous Crufts dog show.
The stand was designed to raise awareness of healthy and delicious food for felines but this was the last thing dog lovers expected to see at the show.
Hosting the stand at the show was Lily’s Kitchen’s newest family member, ‘Cat Balding’; a feline friendly TV presenter with an uncanny resemblance to the show’s official host; Clare Balding.
Clare Balding visited the stand to interview Cat Balding about her feline thoughts on Crufts and Cat revealed that she felt “far superior to waggy-tailed, simple minded dogs who are subservient to their humans and will do any old trick for a treat."
According to Crufts organisers, Lily’s Kitchen were awarded this top accolade because of the stand’s alternative cat focus and beautiful design. The stand featured daily interactive activities, including ‘Happy Meower’ product giveaways and a visit from Clare Balding herself.
CEO and Founder Henrietta Morrison, says: “We are thrilled to have won Best Small Stand at Crufts 2017, and we are delighted that our first ever cat focussed display was so well received.
"We wanted to put a cat amongst the Bichons this year, and with help from Cat Balding, we feel we’ve definitely succeeded in creating awareness for our cat food range.”
