Million children educated through pet retailer's workshops

Pets at Home has announced that more than one million children have now taken part in its Pet Pals workshops.

“That's enough children to fill Wembley Stadium more than 11 times over,” the company said on its Linkedin page.

“For years, Pet Pals has helped inspire the next generation of pet owners through free, interactive workshops that bring responsible pet care to life through games, activities and hands-on learning.

“We're continuing that mission in stores across the UK, helping children learn about everything from nutrition and exercise to play, friendship, grooming and creating the right home environment for pets.

“A huge thank you to our brilliant store colleagues who have shared their knowledge and passion with so many young pet lovers over the years, and to the families who have joined us on the journey.

“Here's to inspiring the next million children to give pets the happy, healthy lives they deserve.”
