Purrform Fresh Deli, the gently cooked, fresh complete cat food from The Nutriment Company, has won the Cat Food Products category at the PATS 2026 New Product Awards, sponsored by Leopard Co and supported by pbwnews.

A panel of expert pet retailers judged each entry on innovation, design, quality, packaging, value for money and sustainability.

Commenting on Purrform Fresh Deli, the judges praised its good variety of flavours and said that moving cat food into the fresh food sector is a good innovation.

Until now, cat owners looking to feed real, species-appropriate food have largely had to choose between frozen raw and conventional wet food. Purrform Fresh Deli offers a third option: a gently cooked, fresh complete food made from food-grade meat, organs and bone, composed to reflect a cat’s natural prey.

As a complete food, Fresh Deli requires no additional supplementation. It contains no grains or fillers and is naturally high in moisture. The range is available in four single-protein recipes in 70g pouches: Beef Trim with Ox Heart & Liver, Chicken Breast with Heart, Gizzard & Liver, Turkey Breast with Heart, Gizzard & Liver, and Wild Boar Trim with Pork Loin, Heart & Liver.

Fresh Deli is the result of close collaboration between The Nutriment Company’s teams in the UK and Germany, from recipe development and packaging through to production and launch.
