Launch of new awards for outstanding achievements in animal care and training

Outstanding achievements in animal care and training are set to be recognised at a brand new awards ceremony – and nominations are open now.

The iAwards are sponsored by Groomers, My Pet Online and iPET Network, in collaboration with Andis, and will celebrate those professionals who go above and beyond to make the lives of the animals they care for better.

There are 10 award categories which span everything from teaching to apprenticeships, and organisers hope that the iAwards will give industry professionals the chance to celebrate together, and meet other like minded service providers too.

The categories are:

  1. Dog Grooming Tutor of the Year
  2. Animal Sector Tutor of the Year
  3. Groomers Dog Groomer of the Year
  4. Cat Groomer of the Year
  5. iPET Network Training Provider of the Year
  6. iPET Network Student of the Year
  7. Canine Business of the Year
  8. Apprenticeship Training Provider of the Year
  9. Dog Grooming Apprentice of the Year
  10. Apprentice of the Year working within an Animal Business

You can nominate here: https://groomerslimited.wufoo.com/forms/r7d87pw1egqokd/

The awards event will take place at the Blakemere Village resort in Northwich, Cheshire, and will be a night of fun, prizes and pizza for everyone to enjoy.

Sarah Mackay and Fern Gresty of the iPET Network, said: "We are so excited for the iAwards, and to celebrate those wonderful individuals and organisations that excel in all they do for animals and education.

"We are so proud of our industry and qualifications are so key to that. This event will celebrate the people who are shining in all that they do, and helping to keep the nation's animals cared for."
