Pedigree Wholesale invests £1.1m in new fleet of trucks

Pedigree Wholesale has invested £1.1m in a new fleet of delivery trucks in order to refresh its current assortment of vehicles with the overall aim of providing better service to customers.

Depending on availability, the company plans on replacing the entire fleet of vehicles over the next three to four years, working to continuously improve its process and strategy in operations. This continued investment plan is part of a commitment to becoming the ‘wholesaler of choice for customers and partners’.

Gerard O’Mahony, Pedigree Wholesale’s managing director, said: “Our customers are at the heart of our business, and finding ways to improve and serve them better is key. This year, our main priority is ‘raising the bar’ across the business, and updating our fleet of delivery trucks helps us do just this from an operational perspective.”

Pedigree Wholesale is one of the leading distributors of pet and aquatic products into the UK independent retail sector. Since being founded over 50 years ago, the family business has grown and developed into one of the key players within the pet industry, offering a vast range of products and servicing pet, aquatic and garden centre retailers across the UK.
