New independent pet store opens in Warrington

A new independent pet store called Pets Retreat has opened in Appleton, Warrington, after months of planning, building, stocking shelves and getting everything ready.

The doors of the store in Bridge Lane opened on Saturday with a promise ‘there’s something for everyone’.

Pets Retreat said on its Facebook page: “We want Pets Retreat to become a shop shaped by the people who use it. If there’s a particular brand, food or product you’d like to see on our shelves, tell us. If we can source it for you, we will.

“We genuinely can’t wait to finally welcome you through the doors and show you what we’ve been working on. And yes, four-legged customers are absolutely welcome.”
