The new Tug-E-Nuff Aero-Tug has been awarded The Dog Trainer School (TDTS) Recommended Product status following an independent trial by professional dog trainers before the toy was widely available to the public.
Over a three-week evaluation, 30 professional dog trainers and dog professionals tested the Aero-Tug in a wide range of real-life training scenarios, including recalls, retrieve games, tug sessions, enrichment activities, water retrieves and everyday walks. Following the trial, 86.7% of testers said they would recommend the Aero-Tug to another trainer or client, earning the toy TDTS Recommended Product status.
The independent trial highlighted the Aero-Tug's lightweight design, versatility and practicality, with testers particularly praising its suitability for tug, retrieve and recall games, its comfortable bungee handle and its ability to float during water retrieves. Alongside positive feedback, participants also provided constructive suggestions for future development, including additional size and colour options, giving Tug-E-Nuff valuable insight from experienced professionals.
Helen Wainwright, Co-Founder of The Dog Trainer School, said: "One of the things we're most proud of with the TDTS Recommended programme is giving brands access to genuine, independent feedback from experienced dog professionals. Our members were among the first people to put the Aero-Tug through real training scenarios before its public launch, and the results speak for themselves. We're delighted to award the Aero-Tug TDTS Recommended Product status."
The TDTS Recommended programme helps dog owners identify products that have been independently tested by experienced dog professionals, while giving manufacturers meaningful real-world feedback from the people who use these products every day. Products are assessed through structured trials with members of The Dog Trainer School community and must achieve a minimum recommendation score before being awarded TDTS Recommended status.
