The Company of Animals hot on the heels for Team GB
Training and behaviour expert The Company of Animals is sponsoring the Heelwork to Music Team Great Britain at the Open European Championships, with its very own Lucy Heath part of the team.

Taking place in Balen, Belgium from 25th to 27th August, the Heelwork to Music Team Great Britain will consist of four Crufts Winners, a World Champion and European Champions.

With the team comprising of five Border Collies, a working Sheepdog and a Beagle, the team are entering both the Heelwork to Music Championship and the Freestyle Championship where competitors create their own programmes with musical interpretation, entertaining themes and costumes.

Some of the 2017 Team GB handlers were members of a Silver medal winning team in the FCI World Championships and members of Gold and a Silver medal winning team at previous Open European Championships.

Dr Roger Mugford, leading animal psychologist and founder of the Company of Animals, said: “We’re delighted Lucy is part of Team Great Britain and for The Company of Animals to be involved with the Heelwork to Music Open Championships. Our CLIX training range of products goes hand in hand with professional Heelwork to Music training and we wish the team every success at the Championships.”

The Company of Animals have strong links to Heelwork to Music, offering their own classes run by Lucy Heath at their Animal Behaviour Centre in Surrey. Lucy will be a reserve in the Team Great Britain with her dog Indie. She has previously competed at Crufts in 2013, 2015 and came third in Heelwork to Music in 2016.

Offering a range of products which are used regularly in Heelwork to Music training, The Company of Animals are enthusiastically supporting HTM Team GB. Whether you are a complete beginner or a professional trainer, their CLIX range of clickers, treat bags and other training aids provide a comprehensive toolkit to support the dog training process.
