Benyfit Natural launches 'One Order, One Tree' initiative

For every order placed during Earth Week starting on Saturday, Benyfit Natural will fund the planting of a tree in partnership with environmental organisation Ecologi, turning everyday pet food purchases into meaningful climate action.

The initiative comes at a time when UK pet ownership and environmental awareness among pet owners are on the rise. With around 13.5 million dogs in the UK and more than a third of households owning a dog, consumer choices in pet care are playing an increasingly important role in shaping environmental impact. At the same time, growing awareness of sustainability is influencing purchasing behaviour, as more owners seek products that align with both their pets’ wellbeing and their environmental values.

This initiative reflects Benyfit Natural’s ongoing mission to reduce its environmental footprint while empowering customers to be part of a more sustainable future.

“Caring for dogs goes hand in hand with caring for the planet they live on,” said Greg Van Praagh, Co-Founder at Benyfit Natural. “One Order, One Tree ensures that every order contributes to a healthier planet, turning everyday purchases into meaningful environmental action.”

While Earth Week shines a spotlight on this focused initiative, sustainability is embedded across Benyfit Natural’s wider operations. The company continues to take meaningful steps to reduce its environmental impact, including:

  • Prevented Ocean Plastic: Benyfit Natural raw food tubs are made using Prevented Ocean Plastic, a material collected from coastal areas at risk of entering the ocean. This helps reduce marine pollution while supporting recycling infrastructure in vulnerable regions.

  • Fully Recyclable Delivery Packaging: All delivery packaging is fully recyclable, making it easier for customers to dispose of materials responsibly and minimise household waste.

  • Environmentally Conscious Operations: From responsible sourcing to continuous packaging innovation, the brand is committed to reducing waste and improving sustainability at every stage of the supply chain.

Through its partnership with Ecologi, Benyfit Natural ensures that each tree planted contributes to verified global climate projects, supporting reforestation where it is needed most.
