Baby Nel’s first Sheepdog Championships

Aled Owen and family (including baby Nel) hosted the 2024 North Wales Sheepdog Championships at Penyfed, Corwen.

The trials, held in glorious Welsh sunshine on 19th and 20th August, were sponsored by CSJ who provided:

  • 15kg bag of Command Performance 30 for top 10 prize winners
  • £10 vouchers for remaining competitors
  • Tub of Shift! to overall Champion
  • Tube of PrePro Paste to each finalist

It was a hard-fought competition with the ultimate winner being former International Supreme and Reserve Supreme Champion, Dewi Jenkins with his dog, Jock.

They were pushed hard by the ultimate Reserve Champion, Arwyn Davies with his young bitch, Eglwys Izzy … losing the title by just one point!

Both Jock and Izzy are fuelled by CSJ and this success closely follows Dewi and Jock earning their place in the National Wales Team to compete in the International Supreme Championship being staged in Scotland in September.

CSJ’s founder Ceri Rundle said: “We’re delighted to see so many winning dogs being fed on our food and supplements and CSJ is used by a big percentage of the team dogs, so we’ll be cheering them on as always.”
