The Barnsley-based company took away the top prize for Best New Food Product at the Pet Industry Federation (PIF) Awards with its Cold Pressed Puppy and Small Breed foods.

In the top 10 breeds registered with the Kennel Club are Yorkshire Terrier, Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Miniature Schnauzer, Border Terrier, Pug, Miniature Smooth Haired Dachshund and French Bulldog. 

Walker & Drake was formed with the clear intention of producing a British made, complete nutritional dog food made using the ‘minimal processing’ cold pressed technique.
