Dorwest has sponsored Bridport-based Team GB swimmer Harry Stewart at the 2024 Paralympics in Paris.

Born close to Dorwest HQ, Harry has already had a fantastic year, winning Gold at the European Para Swimming Championships in Madeira, Gold in Berlin at the European Championships, multi-classification Bronze at the world series event in Aberdeen and securing the Para Swimming National title in London at the Aquatics GB Swimming Championships.

Qualifying for Paris, Harry only turned 20 in May this year, and will race in the S14 category for intellectually impaired athletes as he has Asperger’s syndrome. Harry’s condition is characterised by difficulties with perceptive skills and social interaction. Harry is formerly a member of Bridport Barracudas, South Dorset Tornadoes and West Dorset Swimming Club, and more recently Plymouth Leander Swimming Club.
