Pet Health Club announces StreetVet donation initiative

A new campaign has been launched by Pet Health Club, which will mean that every new subscriber to the pet health plan service will also be supporting IVC Evidensia’s charity partner, StreetVet.

For every new subscriber in March, £1 will be added to the fundraising total, which will go directly to the overall IVC Evidensia charity pot at the end of the month. The current total stands at just under £40,000.

Previous fundraising campaigns have included a climb over the O2, a StreetVet calendar and raising £10,000 alone during a raffle at the group’s Leaders’ Forum in May 2023.

Collette Sheaf, Head of Marketing for StreetVet, commented: “This latest commitment by Pet Health Club to donate £1 to StreetVet for every new subscriber in March is a superb new campaign and will ensure that our partnership with IVC Evidensia goes from strength-to-strength.

“Subscribers who are caring for pets will have the opportunity through this fantastic new initiative to also help care for the pets of those affected by homelessness, which shows a wonderful commitment to animal care and responsible pet ownership.”

StreetVet will use the money raised throughout the month to provide veterinary treatment to the pets of those experiencing homelessness via their outreach programmes across the UK. They became IVC Evidensia’s first charity partner in 2023, with the ultimate goal to raise £100,000 in total.

Lisa Robb, Group Loyalty Marketing Director for IVC Evidensia, added: “We’re thrilled to be able to make this further commitment to StreetVet, enabling new subscribers to Pet Health Club to not only keep their own pets in good health, but to contribute to the health care of other less fortunate pets as well.

“I hope that we are able to boost the overall fundraising to new heights in 2024.”
