Natures Menu sees growth in the garden centre sector

Natures Menu, the Norfolk-based manufacturer of raw and natural meals for dogs and cats, has seen significant growth and interest from the garden centre sector in the past 18 months and this trend is set to continue after showcasing its award-winning range to new buyers at Glee.

Marketing manager Emily Cannon comments: “We’ve seen a huge rise in sales over recent months from garden centres that have invested in specialist in-store pet sections.

"Our figures, and feedback from garden retailers we’ve already developed strong working relationships with, suggest that consumer interest in, and demand for, high quality natural pet foods is at an all-time high.

"It felt like the perfect time to exhibit at Glee. It’s still relatively new territory for us and the show was a great opportunity to understand the needs of buyers and garden retailers."

On show were Natures Menu’s new naturally nutritious Country Hunter pouches for dogs and cats which are grain free and made with ethically sourced human grade meats and wholesome ingredients,There were single protein dog pouches, made with 80% real meat and wholesome fruit and veg, and 96% real meat cat pouches.

The company also showcased its new freezer POS units, which utilise space, educate through simple messaging and aim to impress customers as well as improve the natural feeding sector of a store.

Next stop for Natures Menu is PATS Telford.
