PFMA welcomes new member Yora Pet Foods on board

The Pet Food Manufacturers’ Association continues to grow and diversify and has welcomed Yora Pet Foods into membership.

Yora came to the market amidst much excitement and media attention thanks to their sustainability focused credentials and use of insect protein in their diets for dogs.

Nicole Paley, PFMA Deputy CEO, said: “It’s perfect timing to have Yora in membership and to work with them on our plans. Sustainability will be a significant part of our Pet Food Vision going forward and alternative protein sources is an area of interest.”

Will Bisset, Sales and Innovation Director at Yora, got stuck in to PFMA activity, joining the Communications and Veterinary Nutrition Working Groups.

“The PFMA enables our company to have a voice and make important decisions based on safety and scientific research. Since joining I have been impressed by the collaborative and forward-thinking nature of the PFMA and would highly recommend membership to other companies,” said Will
