Bestpets has announced that David Warren has joined the company in the role as Category Manager – Pet Accessories.

With a wealth of experience spanning 40 years within the wholesale sector, and having previously worked for Batleys, David will help Bestpets continue driving sales for the independent pet trade

Peter Brame, Director of Trading – Pet, said, “We’re pleased to welcome David to the team, in what is an exciting time for Bestpets. He brings with him a lot of knowledge, great enthusiasm and a desire to help our retailers develop sales.

"We have some great projects underway, and having listened to feedback from our Retailers, Accessories is an area we are particularly focused on developing in the coming months. David will be looking to bring in new fresh ranges, new ideas, work closer with existing and new suppliers whilst reviewing the current offering.

Bestpets commitment to growing accessory sales for customers will be shown in June with a special Category Focus dedicated to Dog & Cat Accessories.

Bestpets Category Focus is packed full of tips & tricks for trading the category along with 50 additional products on promotion. Further Category Focus specials will follow throughout the year.
