Pet firm features in TV-hit series Dragons’ Den

Pop+Bark, a company organising social events for the nation’s dogs, has appeared on the BBC1 hit series Dragons’ Den where it received two investment offers before walking away with nothing.
The firm’s owners James Morgan and Anushka Fernando appeared on the show a week ago as they sought a £35,000 investment in return for 5% equity of the business.
Dragons Steven Bartlett and Touka Suleyman both made offers but asked for more equity in return – in Steven’s case 20% and Touka’s case 25%. But they withdrew their offers when James and Anushka tried to negotiate a better deal.
Pop+Bark markets its business as being off-lead experiences where dogs can explore and socialise with their fellow kind.
It claims to be the creator of the world’s first mobile Pupuccino Bar for dogs – serving over 30,000 Pupuccinos. In 2023 it’s set to launch a new Pupcorn Bar.
